Always provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. As this is a natural treat, its sizing, colour and appearance may vary—this is normal. You may notice a natural scent and oil while your doggo chews. This natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. Please ensure your pet is supervised while they enjoy this treat to prevent any injury or potential choking hazard, especially when nearing the end of the cattle hoof. If this product develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety. This is a dog treat and is not meant for human consumption.
My 2 golden retrievers love them. It lasted quite long.
Personally, I prefer "long-ish" treats which are easier for my girl to grip.
These cattle hoofs are about 4",
which becomes "round-ish" after 1 ~ 2 20-minute chewing sessions.
From the look of my 24-kilo Golden Retriever, the love for these pungent treats
did not diminish even when it becomes too small & too short to hold :)
My dog absolutely loves these! She's a strong chewer, and it's lasted her a few days already. The only downside is that the smell is a little bit strong. Would probably need to supervise when you give it to your dog though. Overall, a good buy.
contemplated getting this for the longest time before giving it a try.. main concern was pup cracking teeth if this was chomped on too hard and the smell... my girl loves to chew but is not a power chewer so cracked teeth was not an issue... but my gosh the smell!! made the mistake of sniffing the hoof - it stinks like a farm (not surprising cos after all it's a cow hoof).. will be giving mine away cos my girl loves to rub & roll on her chewies & I don't want her smelling like a farm >.
Takes some time to get used to the smell, honestly can make you gag.. however it really keeps your pup occupied and just gnawing away for many days.
