Heka Pet Food started when we saw a need for healthy pet food that focuses on the healing and well-being of our pets. Heka was the deification of magic and medicine in ancient Egypt. Thanks to Kayla, our resident dog who has food sensitivities, we came to understand the unique healing properties of nature. With Kayla’s journey in mind, we formulated a unique recipe with natural healing herbs and fruits. These carefully-selected ingredients not only provide superior nutrition, but also increase the palatability of our recipes with no additional steroids or hormones.
We believe the best way to nurture our pets is by imparting healing through nature. We have achieved this by using only high-quality protein and herbs which allow dogs to thrive, grow and heal. With Heka, every dog can experience the power of nature, just like Kayla.

My dogs love it
My dog finishes this (then again, he isn't fussy) but hopefully the health benefits will be visible in the long term. Just a downside that the kibble size is rather big compared to others
there's nothing like a fussy beagle (VERY RARE!!) when it comes to food. the fact that our grumpy old girl likes it and wolfs it down right away is testament that it's just good stuff. Plus the free freeze dried topper is a real bonus!! Sorry i don't have the chance to take a photo of her with the food, so a picture of the food we bought the last time will have to do. :)
She had not been picky on her food. Once kiddles on her bowl, she will eat it.
