In the past, before we use this brand for her everyday meal, my cat would demand fresh out-of-box food. However, with this brand, we could put a bowl there and she would still enjoy the food without having it fresh out-of-box. The product is always fresh and my cat would eat more than the other brands we give. This was recommended by my clinic vet too
