Antifungal influence and a potent action against bacteria against Malassezia. Chlorhexidine has a wide range of bacterial, yeast, mold and fungal activity. The miconazole-chlorhexidine combination is successful in destroying seborrhoeic dermatitis and Staphylococcus intermedius species. Staph. Staph. In the presence of Malassezia, intermedius occurs as an overgrowth pathogen and is the primary bacterial species responsible for dog and cat bacterial dermatitis.
INDICATIONS:
Treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius and Malassezia; aids in the treatment of ringworm
Malaseb can alter the effectivness of top spot flea treatments.
Shampoo comes in: 250 mL, 500 mL, 1 L.
It can irritate your skin and eyes. Stop eye and skin touch. Wear rubber gloves while the product is used. If the product in the eyes is washed out with water immediately. Wash your hands after using them.
With clean water, wet the animal thoroughly. At many points, add the foam to the animal and massage the coat. A sponge aids in the coat's lathering and penetration. Ensure that Malaseb is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the toes, as causative species are present in these areas. Enable for 10 minutes to stand, then rinse off with clean water. Repeat twice a week before symptoms subside, then use it on a weekly basis or on veterinary advice.
With ringworm all in-contact animals should be treated to limit infection spreading and environmental contamination.
