First of all, they are pork ribs WITH BONES (of course). My dog is a 8kg shiba gal, and she loves to play with a rib first before starts to chew on it. But when she starts, she chews so fast! So as other reviews have stated, if your dog is a fast muncher, you'd better supervise him/her, in case he/she gets choked. The first time I gave her a rib, I didn't pay much attention to her. I thought she would only chew off the dried meat attached to the bone, since the bone seems to be quite sturdy and hard. However, when I looked at her 15 mins later, the whole rib was gone! I thought she hid it somewhere but I couldn't find it. Then I realized that she ate the whole rib including the bone. I was so worried that the splinters of the bone may cut her throat or intestine. After a few hours of observation, she seemed to be pretty fine and normal. She consumed the rest of the ribs pretty fine too. Then I am convinced that this snack is ok for my dog. No guarantee on other dogs though. Always be careful when your dog chews on a bone!
